Mr Zamayedwa 'ZB' Sogayise
As Chairman, ZB promotes and oversees the highest standards of corporate governance within CSA. With a 28-year record of serving on various boards, ZB was Chairperson of the Board of the National Student Financial Aid Scheme from 2011 to 2015, managing a budget of R8 billion in public funds annually. In an executive capacity, ZB oversaw the distribution of student financial aid to South Africa's public universities and Technical, Vocational, Education and Training (TVET) Colleges. ZB was also the Ministerial appointee on the University of the Western Cape (UWC) 's Council from 2012 to 2017.
Mr Leonard Diederichs
As MD of CSA, Leonard provides operational leadership in the execution of the company's overall strategy. Leonard has implemented numerous training and agricultural development projects, focused within the sub-sectors of horticulture, aquaculture, agronomy and animal production. Prior to joining CSA, Leonard spent 15 years as an Agricultural Economist with ELI, a consultancy offering agricultural enterprise development and turnaround solutions. Leonard has undertaken assignments across Southern Africa.
Mr Sisa Rafuza
Director, Strategy & Marketing
Sisa provides strategic direction in marketing and supports the CSA team in their execution of the company's overall strategy. Sisa manages, develops and sustains effective working relations with all stakeholders to ensure that partner's and the company's objectives are achieved. Prior to joining CSA, Sisa spent 14 years working as an Equity Analyst and Fund Manager. Sisa started his career at Metropolitan Asset Managers and later joined Sanlam Investment Management.
Mrs Elsabe Diederichs
Director, Quality Assurance
Elsabe is a founding member of CSA and the Head of Program Development & Quality Management. A professional teacher, moderator and executive coach, Elsabe has taught at numerous schools, training centers and agricultural concerns over the past 30 years. Elsabe oversees key aspects relating to the quality of training offered by the College; these include program development, facilitator support, records management and the progression of the CSA quality management system to the Quality Council for Trade and Occupations.
Mr Leon Diederichs
Director, Administration & Implementation
Leon's many years of experience in developing human resources and fostering entrepreneurial spirit has led to establishing the College of Sustainable Agriculture as a trusted value chain for emerging and commercial agricultural enterprises.
Mr Vuyo Mzini
Vuyo is a chartered accountant by profession, with extensive experience in investment management, business development and corporate finance. Vuyo fills the financial management role at CSA. His previous roles included research and project execution and management in agriculture and property related investments with companies such as PSG Capital.
